Banana Paper is paper with a purpose. Banana fibre is a 230,000 ton per year by-product of the Costa Rican banana harvest and poses an ecological threat to the region.  Coupling this natural fiber with and unbleached 100% post-consumer recycled paper creates a beautiful paper that works to solve two waste stream problems. A percentage of each sale goes towards a scholarship fund to support young leaders from Latin America who study sustainable agriculture.
