Our customers send a clear signal to the market that real demand exists for positive change. In turn, this signal triggers the development of new emission reduction and renewable energy projects, the innovation of greener office products and services, and the narrowing of prices between green and conventional solutions.

The Carbon Offsetting service of TheGreenOffice.com grew out of our own commitment to minimize the carbon emissions associated with the sale and distribution of office products. With so much hype and uncertainty about offsetting, we began by challenging the assumption that the practice was indeed an effective means of mitigating our footprint. After nearly two years of research we concluded that the strongest claim for carbon neutrality is backed first by an aggressive internal emissions reduction campaign, second, by the purchase of green energy and renewable energy credits, and finally, by investment in third-party certified emission reduction credits. Our Carbon Offsetting service was launched in order to help spread these best practices to a growing customer base dedicated to sustainable development.
